Squarespace Money

This project was done for a Squarespace contest on Dribbble. I designed a currency based off the one hundred dollar bill. I challenged myself to make the currency believable, which included careful texturing, coloring, font selection, and purposeful misalignment. If you study the bill carefully, you’ll see that I incorporated Squarespace’s logo in various places of the bill design!

After the bill was done, I digitally folded it into various origami shapes. No matter how carefully you fold something in real life, there will always be imperfections. Combing subtle folding flaws with shadows and highlights makes the final piece look tangible.

So there you are. An elephant, a butterfly, a shirt, and a… thing. Enjoy!
